The continuous growth in production volumes, the increasing awareness of consumers, and the widespread adoption of international food safety standards have amplified the demand for well-trained specialists in this area. Both public institutions and private enterprises within the food sector require highly qualified professionals capable of conducting analyses, managing quality control processes, and maintaining full compliance with relevant regulations.
The Food Quality Control and Analysis Program of our Vocational School is designed not merely to train technicians with laboratory skills, but to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of food safety, hygiene, quality management systems, analytical techniques, and regulatory frameworks. Through the 3+1 educational model, our students consolidate their theoretical and practical knowledge acquired over three semesters with extensive workplace training in the final semester, thereby gaining invaluable professional experience and entering the sector as practice-oriented graduates.
Our alumni successfully pursue careers in Food Production Facilities, Public and Private Laboratories, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s Control Units, Public Health Laboratories, as well as in Hotels and Catering Companies. Furthermore, they have the opportunity to advance academically by transferring to four-year undergraduate programs such as Food Engineering, Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Technology, and Chemistry through the Vertical Transfer Examination.
